The project focuses on a mother (Lahti) who joins the family medical practice and must learn to reconnect with her adult children. The pilot was written byPrivileged creator Rina Mimoun and directed by David Nutter.
In 1998, Lahti won an Emmy for her role as Dr. Kathryn Austin in Chicago Hope. On Wednesday night's Law & Order: SVU,her character ADA Sonya Paxton was murdered.
