Chris Klein to Appear on FX's Wilfred

Chris Klein has signed on for a multi-episode arc on FX's upcoming comedy, Wilfred, TVLine reports.

The series stars Elijah Wood (in his first series role) as Ryan, an introverted guy trying to find happiness. Ryan finds a friend in Wilfred, who appears to the outside world as an ordinary dog but as a mischievous Australian man in a dog costume to Ryan.

Klein, 31, will play a love interest for Ryan's female friend, Jenna, (Fiona Gublemann). The American Pie actor most recently guest-starred on The Good Guys.

Wilfred debuts in June on FX.
