Details on the epic two-night event
All your favorite Chicago public servants will be in one place when the casts of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.stage an epic two-night crossover event the first week of January.
On the two-hour Part 1 (airing Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9/8c), members of the Chicago Fire crew head to Chicago Med to keep vigil after one of their own is the victim of a stabbing, and things get tense when it's questioned whether Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) is following the right course of treatment. Meanwhile, Chicago Med staffers Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) and Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) care for a victim whose suicide attempt is surrounded by mysterious circumstances.
The plot thickens the following night on Chicago P.D., when the attempted suicide victim leads the team to a doctor connected to Voight (Jason Beghe) who may be intentionally poisoning his patients with overdoses of chemotherapy.
