Days after Cher criticized Miley Cyrus' controversial VMAs performance, the singer has changed her position and says that she is "ashamed" of the harsh words she had for Cyrus.
In an interview with USA Today posted Wednesday, Cher said the performance "just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated."

However, later that same day, Cher tweeted a series of messages explaining that she regretted taking any stance on Cyrus' time onstage. "I Think What I Think, but Having Said That...I'm a little ashamed," she wrote. "I didn't keep my big Opinionated mouth Shut.WTF is MY PROBLEM!"
Cher even offered up what she probably should have said in the first place: "I didn't like it that much, but she's Pushing The Envelope, being an ARTIST ! She's Talented, & DIDNT COMMIT A FELONY."

In her final tweets, Cher called Cyrus "[f---ing] brilliant" because the performance is still being discussed. "Ps this is Not an apology 4 what I Thought, its a Reminder, that if I don't practice my principles,I [lose] Them."
