The venerable NBC skitcom received nine Cheers in 2011, for breakouts like Bill Hader, musical guests such as Lady Gaga and hosts ranging from Melissa McCarthy and Miley Cyrus to Steve Buscemi and Jimmy Fallon. Last year's winner, Fallon finished a close second with eight Cheers, tying Community and Boardwalk Empire. Long-running hits NCIS and Burn Notice followed with six each, equal to late-night faves David Letterman and Conan O'Brien. And a sextet of dark cable/satellite dramas — Breaking Bad, Damages, Rescue Me, The Killing, Justified and the late, great Lights Out— garnered five.On the downside, the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad trio combined for six Jeers, tying with last year's big loser, The Office. A bunch of other past-their-primetime shows — Desperate Housewives, House, America's Next Top Model, Glee and Californication— were slapped with four Jeers, while The Talk, Rizzoli & Isles and Weeds got three.
