AMC's chilly conspiracy serial cast the smoldering actress as Andy, a part-time painter who takes her justifiably paranoid neighbor, intelligence anyalyst Will Travers (James Badge Dale), into her apartment — and her bed. There's something off about Andy, who was turned on by Will's shiftiness and ended the episode with this ominous between-the-sheets whisper: "I like that you've got a gun." Ruh-roh!
Parisse recently costarred with Badge Dale on another high-quality production, HBO's The Pacific (she played Jon Seda's wife) and guested on Showtime's grade-A rookie The Big C as John Benjamin Hickey's hippie-dippy girlfriend. Previously, she was best known for her ill-fated stint as ludicrously named ADA Alexandria Borgia on NBC's Law & Order. Clearly, broadcast networks won't be able to keep Annie down on the farm now that she's seen the gay Parisse of pay-cable.
Do you think Annie Parisse is a welcome addition to Rubicon?
