Despite her dual role on Hannah Montana, she's not the world's most versatile actress — that's one of the running gags in SNL's "Miley Cyrus Show" sketch, with Vanessa Bayer as the always overly effusive pop star. So NBC's venerable skitcom carefully cast her in roles she could handle: herself (defending her reputation in a self-aware opening number, "Sorry That I'm Not Perfect," teaching kids how to overact for the Disney Channel and stepping in for fellow Disney Channel vet Vanessa Hudgens in a Beastly spoof) as well as past and present child stars Lindsay Lohan, Fergie and Justin Bieber. The few sketches that stretched her range mostly relied on her singing and dancing skills, whether she was playing a jealous lover in a giddily incomprehensible French musical or an embittered lounge crooner on a cruise ship. By not pushing Cyrus beyond the limits of her talent, SNL turned what could've been a January Jones-esque disaster into something, well, pretty cool. What did you think of Miley Cyrus on SNL?
