Jeers to Titus Welliver for spreading himself too thin.
From Deadwood to Lost, he's long been one of TV's hardest-working, most reliable character actors, But by pulling double duty on The Good Wife and Sons of Anarchy-- two dramas that air head-to-head on Tuesdays at 10/9c -- Welliver may be getting a little greedy for screen time.
He's just fine as Glenn Childs, the sleazy State's Attorney who's running against Peter (Chris Noth) -- and butting heads with Alicia (Julianna Margulies) -- on The Good Wife. But as IRA traitor Jimmy O'Phelan on Sons of Anarchy, the New Haven-born actor's brogue is all over the map. Sometimes his lines are indecipherable; at other times, it sounds like he's doing a Lucky Charms commercial. Maybe if he weren't moonlighting on CBS' Chicago drama, he would've had more time to pick an accent and stick with it.
Do you think Titus Welliver is full of blarney on Sons of Anarchy?
