4400 Star Chad Faust Joins Lone Star

Chad Faust has joined Fox's con man drama Lone Star.

Faust, who starred in The 4400 and has also appeared on Heroesand Smallville, has been cast in the recurring role of Harrison. Lone Star revolves around Bob Allen (James Wolk), a con artist living two separate lives in Texas. Harrison is the ex-husband of Bob's wife Cat Thatcher (Adrianne Palicki).

According to the official character description posted by Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news, Harrison is Cat's high school mistake-turned-unfaithful ex. He returns to town to prove he's a changed man.

How long can Lone Star remain plausible?

Reps for the Fox series did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.

Lone Star premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c on Fox.
