Although the President didn't speak until around 11:35 p.m. ET, most networks cut into their programming around 10:45 p.m. The interruption cut off the tail end of CBS' CSI: Miami, NBC's Celebrity Apprentice and ABC's Brothers & Sisterson the East Coast. Meanwhile, the West Coast missed out on NBC's America's Next Great Restaurantfinale, and although CBS aired The Amazing Raceand Undercover Bosslate, CSI: Miami was pre-empted altogether. ABC, which stuck with the news coverage longer than the other networks, aired Desperate Housewivesat 10 p.m. PT, followed by Brothers & Sisters.Why is Jack Bauer trending on Twitter?
