Although the President didn't speak until around 11:35 p.m. ET, most networks cut into their programming around 10:45 p.m. The interruption cut off the tail end of  CBS' CSI: Miami, NBC's Celebrity Apprentice and ABC's Brothers & Sisterson the East Coast. Meanwhile, the West Coast missed out on NBC's America's Next Great Restaurantfinale, and although CBS aired The Amazing Raceand Undercover Bosslate, CSI: Miami was pre-empted altogether. ABC, which stuck with the news coverage longer than the other networks, aired Desperate Housewivesat 10 p.m. PT, followed by Brothers & Sisters.
Although an ABC rep said the network as yet has no plans to re-air its bumped shows, CBS and NBC will air repeats. CSI: Miami willl air Saturday, May 7 at 9/8c on CBS. Meanwhile, Celebrity Apprentice will air Friday, May 6 at 8/7c on CNBC, followed by Next Great Restaurant at 10/9c.
