CBS Orders Mark Wahlberg and ESPN-inspired Pilots
CBS has ordered two half-hour sports-centric pilots, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Home Game, inspired by the life of three-time Super Bowl champion and NFL pro Mark Schlereth, comes from executive producers Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson. Schlereth will help produce along with his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Alexandria.

The plot will focus on a retired NFL player who returns home to his family.
The second pilot given the green light is the untitled workplace comedy inspired by ESPN personality Colin Cowherd's talk show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Bill Martin and Mike Schiff will write and executive produce along with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.
