CBS Pulls We Are Men After Two Episodes

We Are Menhas been canceled after two episodes, TVGuide.com has learned.

The testosterone-heavy comedy, which stars Chris Smith, Jerry O'Connell, Kal Penn and Tony Shalhoub, debuted to 6.4 million viewers and a 2.0, down 0.4 from last year's premiere of  the short-lived Partners and shedding more than a point from lead-in How I Met Your Mother. In its second week, it fell to 5.4 million viewers and a 1.8.

In its place, 2 Broke Girls— which hit a series low of 7.2 million viewers and a 2.2 on Monday night — will move to the 8:30/7:30c timeslot, followed by The Big Bang Theoryrepeats until Mike & Mollypremieres on Nov. 4. There's no word yet on the fate of the network's new drama Hostages, which slid to a dangerously low 5.2 million viewers and a 1.2 on Monday.

We Are Men follows the recently axed Lucky 7, which ABC pulled off the scheduled after two episodes. In comparison, Lucky 7's second episode plunged 38 percent to a measly 2.8 million viewers and an 0.8.

In our fall TV popularity contest, 51 percent of TVGuide.com users who voted said they did not like We Are Men.
