While the new shows of the fall season anxiously look over their shoulders in anticipation of cancellation, one veteran summer show was given a pink slip. CBS' Unforgettable is now just a memory. It's been canceled after three seasons, Variety reports.

Fall TV popularity contest: Which new shows won you over?

The procedural starred Poppy Montgomery as a detective who used her photographic memory to solve crimes. Unforgettable was already canceled once before in 2012 after its first season, but the network had a change of heart and brought it back as a summer series.

The move comes a day after CBS made decisions on three other summer shows. Under the Dome and Extant were both somewhat surprisingly renewed, and Reckless was canceled.
