Pilot Season: CBS Orders Jerry Bruckheimer Drama Trooper

CBS has ordered a pilot for Jerry Bruckheimer's Trooper.

The one-hour drama centers on a sensible mother who becomes a New York state trooper. Heroesscribe Aron Eli Coleite will write and executive-produce alongside Bruckheimer (CSIfranchise, The Amazing Race) and Jonathan Littman. KristieAnne Reed is also attached as an co-executive producer.

CBS previously picked up dramas Elementary, a modern take on Sherlock Holmes, and the legal series Baby Big Shot, along with the untitled Nick Stoller comedy.
