CBS Orders Detective Drama from Breaking Bad and House Creators

CBS has given a series order to a detective drama from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and House creator David Shore, Deadlinereports. Battle Creek will debut with 13 episodes in the 2014-2015 TV season.

The show reportedly follows two detectives with very different world views who are paired up in Battle Creek, Mich.

Gilligan, who is also executive-producing the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, originally created the series in 2002, according to Deadline.

Shore will act as showrunner and will executive-produce with Gilligan and Breaking Bad executive producer Mark Johnson, Deadline reports.
