Late pop-singer Aaliyah's vampire film, Queen of the Damned, had bloodthirsty audiences flocking to the theaters, grossing $15.2 million and taking home the top spot at the box office this weekend. Last week's No. 1 flick, Denzel Washington's hostage drama John Q, slipped to No. 2 with $12.5 million. Rounding out the top five: Kevin Costner's new supernatural thriller Dragonfly (No. 3 with $10.4 million), the Peter Pan sequel Return to Never Land (No. 4 with $9 million) and Britney Spears's Crossroads (No. 5 with $7.1 million).
