Rosa Blasi Heads to Lone Star; Will Andie MacDowell Join Too?

Strong Medicine alum Rosa Blasi has joined Fox's Lone Star, a show rep told TVGuide.com.
Blasi will play Blake, the trophy wife of Trammell (Mark Deklin), on the new drama, which revolves around Robert/Bob Allen (James Wolk), a Texas con man who leads a double life.

How long can Lone Star remain plausible?

Andie MacDowell is also near a deal to join the series, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported Blasi's casting. MacDowell would play the love interest of Clint Thatcher (Jon Voight), an oil tycoon and father-in-law to Bob Allen, EW reports.
Fox would not confirm MacDowell's casting.
Lone Star premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c.
