Dancing with the Stars is getting underway and Season 21's first contestant is Bindi Irwin!
On Monday, Irwin appeared on Good Morning America to share the exciting news. "This is completely different than anything I've ever done in my life... I hope I'm able to inspire other to seize opportunities and make a difference," she said. "I just hope my dance partner, whoever it is, is very patient and likes animals!"
Irwin, 17, was just 8 when her father "crocodile hunter" Steve Irwin died in a stingray attack. She carried in her father's legacy with several projects including Bindi, the Jungle Girl on Discovery Kids.

More of the Dancing cast will be announced throughout the week. Season 21 premieres on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8/7c on ABC.
