After several months of enduring speculation that she had "faked" her pregnancy, Beyoncé is finally speaking out in the newest issue of People.
"That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," she tells the magazine, in response to rumors that she used a surrogate. "[I thought] 'Where did they come up with this?'"
Back in October, the 30-year-old singer was a guest on an Australian TV program, and shortly after her appearance, photos and videos began to go viral that reportedly showed her baby bump "deflating" as she sat down.

Beyoncé named People's Most Beautiful Woman

"It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid," she says. Her mother, Tina Knowles, also came to her daughter's defense."I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months," she says. "As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."Beyoncé, who was recently named People's Most Beautiful Woman, welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter with husband Jay-Z on Jan. 7 in New York City.
