Beyonce once again rattled the members of her Beyhive - and the entire Internet - Saturday after quietly releasing a trailer for an HBO special Lemonade.
Beyonce and Bruno Mars steal Super Bowl 50 halftime show
Released through her Instagram, Beyonce's Lemonade trailer was super-minimalist, with only the singer's blond cornrows and a fur coat visible - the same look she showcased in her "Formation" video earlier this year. Both "Formation" and Lemonade, anticipated to be an "album film," are similar in that they're part of a series of stealth releases by Beyonce, who also debuted her athletic clothing line Ivy Park online this year and, before that, her 2013 self-titled album with zero warning or pre-emptive fanfare.
Lemonade, which will air Saturday, April 23, is a precursor to her Formation World Tour, which begins April 27 in Miami, and an album rumored to be coming this month.
