More like green and Golden Girls
Someone get Betty White a cheesehead, stat!
The NFL's 100th season kicks off Thursday night with the league's oldest rivalry, as the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears at Chicago's Soldier Field. To celebrate, Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre and TV icon Betty White teamed up for a new segment set to air during NBC's Football Night in America pre-game show.
In a preview from the segment, Favre enlists the 97-year-old White to reminisce on nearly a century of the National Football League's best moments -- since, as Favre points out, she was around for most of it.
"I'm old, but I ain't that old," says the former Packers quarterback.
Check out the clip above to see green and gold meet Golden Girls as White pays tribute to football greats, including the late Packers quarterback Bart Starr and legendary coach Vince Lombardi. And maybe some Bears too.
Football Night in America airs Thursday at 7:30/6:30c on NBC, followed by Packers-Bears kickoff at 8:20/7:20c on NBC.
