Hope for Haiti Now charity album debuts at No. 1
Presented by BET, SOS Saving OurSelves — Help for Haiti will air live on Friday, Feb. 5 at 8/7c on BET, MTV, VH1 and Centric from the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Other scheduled performers include Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Wyclef Jean, among others. Jean also co-hosted last week's Hope for Haiti Now telethon, which has raked in $66 million and produced a No.1 charity album.
Procter & Gamble and Pepsi will sponsor the event, which will send donations directly to Yele Haiti, CARE, Project Medishare and Children's Safe Drinking Water.
