Avatar's Stephen Lang Treks to Terra Nova

Stephen Lang will star opposite Jason O'Mara in the adventure epic Terra Nova, a rep for the series confirms.

The Fox series kicks off in 2149, where the Shannon family, led by patriarch Jim (O'Mara), flees an overpopulated and emaciated Earth through a crack in the space-time continuum. On the other side? Terra Nova, a new colony built on prehistoric Earth.

Kings' Allison Miller travels to Terra Nova

Lang, who last appeared in Avatar and Public Enemies, will play Frank Taylor, the determined leader and first settler of Terra Nova. He has his own suspicious agenda.

Fox will air a sneak preview of Terra Nova, which is being filmed in Australia, in May. The series will debut next fall.
