Anthony Michael Hall Charged With Disturbing the Peace

Anthony Michael Hall was booked on charges of disturbing the peace Monday after an altercation with a neighbor at his Los Angeles condo complex, The Los Angeles Times reports.

The Sixteen Candles actor, 43, faces a misdemeanor charge after he allegedly tore up plants in the common area of his Venice condominium and threatened to beat his neighbor "to a pulp," according to the newspaper. Hall later knocked on the neighbor's front door and told the man to come outside to fight. The man slammed the door and called the police.

Hall was then taken into custody without further incident and later released early Tuesday.
