For the first time ever, American Ninja Warrior is hosting an international competition in which the best athletes from America and Japan will battle it out for ultimate ninja glory. Five competitors from American Ninja Warrior and five from Sasuke, the original Japanese program, will try their best at all four stages of the Las Vegas finals course in a new head-to-head format that pits members from each team against one another.

Representing America are Brian Arnold, Paul Kasemir, James McGrath, Travis Rosen and Brent Steffenson. Japan is represented by Kazuma Asa, Hitoshi Kanno, Ryo Matachi, Shingo Yamamoto and two-time grand champion Yuji Urushihara.
