Jessica Lange will make her return to American Horror Story, appearing in one episode of Apocalypse as her Murder Housecharacter Constance Langdon.

Sarah Paulson shared the exciting news at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour. The American Horror Story star revealed that Lange will appear in Episode 6, which Paulson will direct.

The last time we saw Constance, she had adopted Michael Langdon, Vivian Harmon's (Connie Britton) child with the ghost of Constance's son Tate (Evan Peters). Michael was prophesied to be the antichrist, and based on the murder of his nanny as a toddler it definitely appeared as though he was already living up to the title. It was previously revealed that Michael Langdon would feature prominently in Apocalypse, now played by The Assassination of Gianni Versace breakout Cody Fern.

Lange was an original star of American Horror Story, appearing in Murder House, Asylum, Coven and Freak Show. Lange earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for each season of American Horror Story and took home a Globe for Murder House and an Emmy for Coven. She left the series after the fourth season, but continued to work with Ryan Murphy, starring in Feud: Bette and Joan.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10/9c on FX.
