Al Pacino Joins Gotti Film

Al Pacino is joining another mob family. The Godfather alum will star in Gotti: Three Generations, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Pacino will play Gambino crime family underboss Neil Dellacroce, an associate and mentor to John Gotti Sr. (John Travolta). The cast also includes Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston, as Victoria Gotti; their daughter Ella Bleu Travolta as the Gottis' daughter, Angel; Joe Pesci as Gotti Sr.'s associate Angelo Ruggiero; and Lindsay Lohan as Kim Gotti, John Gotti Jr.'s wife.The roles of Gotti Jr. and his sister Victoria have yet to be cast.

The project reunites Pacino with Barry Levinson, who directed the actor to an Emmy in HBO's You Don't Know Jack.Production is expected to begin in New York in the fall, with the film set to hit theaters in late 2012.
