TV's most wanted woman, Paula Abdul, may be heading to NBC for a new dance show, The Wrap reports.
Less than a week after negotiations for a Star Search reboot fell apart between the former American Idol judge and ABC, Abdul is in talks with NBC to join director-choreographer Kenny Ortega on his new dance-themed series, according to the site.
Paula Abdul not joining Star Search reboot
The untitled show features teams of contestants performing big, highly choreographed dance numbers, possibly in public places, The Wrap reports. The series would specifically focus on flash mob dancing, according to Entertainment Weekly, although a source denied that to The Wrap.
Ortega (High School Musical, This Is It) will executive-produce the project, which could premiere in the fall. One of the production companies behind NBC's The Biggest Loser, 3 Ball Productions, is also attached to the series.
Abdul's rep refused to comment.
