Unaware of her sinful past, the young painter, Dimitris Perotis, lets himself get carried away and falls head-over-heels in love with Margarita, the alluring trophy wife of ruthless and unscrupulous Alexis. Before long, however, their secret affair comes to light, and Dimitris' cruel father, Petros, decides to put an end to the young couple's relationship at all costs. Now, for the sake of her beloved, Margarita must make a pressing and equally painful decision. Is their love strong enough to overcome the machinations of fate?
