When the leader of a flock of birds is wounded just before it's time for his friends and family to migrate to Africa, he must pass on all of the important information he has learned to the first bird he sees. By a twist of fate, the responsibility falls upon a young bird that has never flown the nest but who must now follow his instincts and guide the flock on their way.
