'Why are We Here?' is about a young girl named Ariel who goes in search of the meaning of life. Ariel has the ability to see things others cannot, including ghosts, angels, devils and 'The Timekeeper' who tells her that the world is dying, and she needs to find her purpose in life or the world will be destroyed in 28 days. The film contains no dialog and is narrated from the perspective of the spirit world - the soul, the ego and the timekeeper. As Ariel gets over her own family issues, she is able to help out her fear-engulfed town and comes one step closer to her true self and her own life purpose! A quirky film with a unique mix of genres.
