White Lies is a short documentary film taken place in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, China. This film narrate a touching story about how Tibetan herdsmen console a hybrid of yak and cow that lost her calf by using white lie and the interdependence relationship between herders and their livestock. Yak provide milk, hair and dung to support the livelihood of Tibetan families while herdsmen, with beloved songs, praise and show their gratitude towards each and every Yak in return.
