Based on an actual 1926 case pulled from the files of the United States Postal Service, this less-than-thrilling crime story stars Tracy as the head investigator of the post office, out to smash a gang that has robbed a mail truck and murdered the driver. "Jane Turner" is the phony name the crooks use to fool the post office into delivering their loot. When a real Jane Turner shows up, the law and the crooks both sink under the weight of the confusion.
