A young man is having trouble holding onto a steady job because of his overactive imagination. In whatever setting he's placed, he usually thinks about dancing and/or Mitzi Mayfair, the costume designer he's in love with, but who probably doesn't even know he exists. As he goes from one job to another, he starts off well, but his imagination gets him into trouble.
