Twins Yolande and Charmain Larthe separated when their parents divorced, but, as luck would have it, the two now attend the same summer camp. They latch on to a scheme to take one another's place in an effort to reunite their parents. If the plot sounds familiar, that's because this is almost the same film as the better known THE PARENT TRAP (1961). This version is clearly the lesser of the two, with generally bad acting and a saccharine story. Both this and the 1961 Disney film are based on DAS DOPPELTE LOTTCHEN, a 1951 German film made from the Erich Kastner book.
