TURF is a strange silent film produced and directed by the up-and-coming filmmaker, Steve Macfarlane. The film follows Beatrice Mattingly, a young woman, who decides (despite her busy big-city schedule) to take a weekend out in the country to "save" an old friend of hers who has descended into withdrawal and isolation.
