Cora Atwood, an easterner, visits her uncle's ranch in Wyoming and there meets Cal Frazer. He kidnaps her when he discovers that she is deliberately toying with his affections, and inadvertently he plays into the hands of bandits. After Cal and Cora are rescued by a posse, Cora finds herself in love.
