Andrew, an English writer, shares a seedy apartment in Paris with his young French partner Anna. One summer morning, when her friend Justice is due to arrive from London, a friend of Anna's, Bibi, an actress by trade, tells her that she is pregnant with him. As for Anna, she is obsessed with Justice.
