When the ability to travel through time is perfected, the U.S. government forms a new type of law enforcement agency. It's called the Time Enforcement Commission (T.E.C.). A police officer, Max Walker, is assigned to the security agency, but some men attack him and murder his wife. Ten years later, Max is still grieving his wife's demise, but has become a good agent for the special police force. He tracks down his former partner Lyle Atwood who went into the past to make money from the stock market. Max brings him back but not after telling Max that he was sent by Senator McComb, a corrupt politician who intends to change the past to control the future. However, Senator McComb discovers Walker on his trail and the real action begins--in Walker's own past.
