With the aid of a pretty young bill collector, Margie Ross (Gloria Stuart), Barney Callahan (Michael Whalen and Snapper Doolan (Chick Chandler), reporter and photographer for "The Clarion" newspaper, set out to show that gangster Dutch Moran (Douglas Fowley) may have been involved.
