A World War I veteran from Belgium accompanies a strong man act to America so that he can look for Mary Smith, the pen pal he fell in love with during the war. Along the way, a gangster’s moll hides a bankroll on Harry and has to lure him to her apartment to recover the loot. A touchingly beautiful performance by Harry Langdon.
