Marina, a child, lives through the loss of her father, a free-living mother, an abusive elder brother, a too strict stepfather, only to find some love from an unsuccessful artist. To pay from a brain tumor surgery, she resorts to being sexually exploited by men - as she had done since being expelled from home by her stepfather.
