The year is the future but unrecognizable so, all physical disabilities have been cured. But, one thing stands in the way of creating the ultimate 'golden state.' Mental Illness. Society fears it, as it is the only unknown in their lives. The state resort to rounding up mentally ill people and putting them in abandoned houses, where they are essentially left to die. The film focuses on how they, seemingly unlikely friends, unite together despite societies isolation.
