For Molly Wilson, life in London’s East End is colourless. The same is true for Freddie, her best friend who idolises her. But she is in love with the local crook, Gerry, who uses this to make Molly assist in a robbery. In doing this she implicates her best friend and, when the police become involved, she must choose between them.
