“Marsh” is the right-hand man of Ralph Nevins a wealthy real estate developer and has an affair with his wife, Paulie, who, having grown up in poverty, has no intention to divorce. One night they discover that thieves are planning to rob a neighbor. Later, Paulie is assaulted by her husband.
