The Pilgrim Lady
Dennis Carter (Warren Douglas), the head of a failing magazine, gets an MS from his girlfriend Eve (Veda Ann Borg) that she recommends he publish. The MS is written under the pseudonym 'Iris Fabian'. He brings the author from Ohio to New York to get her under contract as her literary agent. After having the MS rejected by every publisher in town, he decides to build a publicity campaign around her to get the book published. However all is not as it seems regarding the real authorship. Is it bespectacled Henrietta Rankin (Lynne Roberts), and can she be beautified enough for the campaign?
