Mona, an immigrant and once a singer, has vowed to stop singing until peace has returned to her homeland. Having to find something else to fill the void left by not singing, she decides to funnel her energies into cleaning, most specifically vacuuming. But she also decides to marry vacuuming with the artistic side of her being with three of her neighbors, each who believes he/she is the only person helping Mona in her cleaning venture. Mona's deception is draining her emotionally, but she may come to a realization of what she and by association her three helpers are truly getting out of the process.
