Bolivia, 1967. A near-documentary depiction of the government-ordered massacre of striking tin mine workers and their families by the army near the town of Llallagua. Beginning with similar atrocities in 1942, the narrator details their terrible social conditions, further repression, murders, and their eventual justified shift toward radical actions. The story culminates in the tragic year of 1967, with the largest massacre of unarmed workers and their families in Bolivia's history. The film also features survivors who lived through these events.
