21 October 1929. Bound for the United States of America, the ocean liner Saturnia sailed from Trieste, picking up immigrants from the ports of the Mediterranean. A young Greek passenger who boarded the ship at Patras, Greece, is about to witness an unexpected and equally surreal encounter. One night, aboard a ship filled with the passengers' hopes and dreams of creating a brighter future in the New World, two great poets crossed paths: Fernando Pessoa and C.P. Cavafy.
