The Man Around the House

This MGM short film, part of the Pete Smith Specialty series, looks at Hugo Hightonsil and the advantages of having a man around the house to fix things. He decides to repair a wobbly card table, sort of; then adds a shelf-like seat fastened to the wall to replace a stool that's in his way - but is the replacement better?; then it's time to polish his car, but he can't quite seem to keep it clean; he then tries to remove his son's loose tooth; and plays catch with his son. He's definitely not having a good time.
